These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of subscriptions by you, with SOCK CLUB. SOCK CLUB is a registered trademark and brand name of John Pinder Ltd a company registered in England, No. 06610243, registered office 72 Goodramgate, York YO1 7LZ
The terms set out here are which we sell all Goods to you. By signing up for a SOCK CLUB membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You can only purchase the Goods from the Website if you are eligible to enter into a contract and are at least 18 years old.
These General Terms of Business (GTOB) govern the processing and shipment of all orders, including sock subscriptions, placed by customers online from SOCK CLUB.
- Terms of business
These services are governed solely by these terms of business.
- Contract execution
All offers made by SOCK CLUB are non-binding. A contract between the customer and SOCK CLUB becomes effective only after the customer has placed an order and SOCK CLUB has accepted it. The customer generates his order online by completing the order form provided by SOCK CLUB on its website. SOCK CLUB signifies its acceptance of the order by delivering some or all of the products specified in it.
- Cancellation of subscription
You can cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason and may return individual items accrued as part of the subscription service for partial refund or exchange when notice is given within 30 days of receipt. These are not mutually exclusive terms and act as separate rights governing firstly the subscription contract, and then the receipt of goods.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the first delivery.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this Contract by a clear statement setting out your decision (e.g. a letter sent by post or email).
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Deliveries are made from the SOCK CLUB warehouse. Any delivery periods or delivery dates specified by SOCK CLUB are not binding on it. Articles ordered by annual subscription will be delivered in several partial shipments. Partial shipments will be made at regular intervals during the contract period. If the customer refuses to accept deliveries, SOCK CLUB may, at its sole discretion, withdraw from the contract.
- Transfer of ownership
Socks ordered remain the property of SOCK CLUB until payment of the full price specified in the current contract has been made by the customer.
- Payment / shipping costs
All payments will be paid by direct debit in advance of shipment. Unless specified otherwise, all prices include shipping costs. This applies to shipments worldwide.
SOCK CLUB reserves the right to raise the price of its regular yearly subscription after a year, if taxes or duties such as VAT, or its wage, equipment, third party or purchasing costs have increased. In any such event, you will be notified of amendments to future Direct Debit payments.
You may return items within 14 days of joining as a member, should you change your mind about wanting to be a member. Goods must be returned, unused and in original packaging. Should any item develop a fault, please contact us first, before returning.
- Data protection
Personal data relating to customers are collated only to the extent permitted by law. We will communicate with you during your membership via post and email.
- Final provisions
Should one or more of the provisions of these terms of business cease to apply, this does not invalidate the entire contract. Any provisions which become inapplicable will be replaced with appropriate new provisions under the relevant jurisdiction.
This contract is governed solely by English Law.
